Tony's - What to eat

Having looked through this site some, I have seen mixed reviews about Tony's in the MK. Some people really like it, and some people really don't at all. My question is, for those who like Tony's, what is it that you order that you like, and, for those who don't like Tony's, what is it that you ordered that you really didn't like? As it is, my family plans to eat there when we go to the MK, so I am wondering what to order and what to definitely stay away from. Thanks in advance.

You can never go wrong with the speghetti and meat balls...they are the specialty of the house. I eat at tony's everytime i go to the magic kingdom and love it. Ask if you can sit outside, it gives it a nice al-fresco feel with the ambiance of mainstreet.

I had my birthday dinner there (with a little help from the DAPPER DANS, no less!!) :king:

I can tell you exactly what I had and that it was delicious!

Appetizer: Spinach, Cheese, and Artichoke Dip with toast and chips for dipping.

Dinner: Chicken Florentine...chicken covered with cheese, ham, spinach, and mushroom sauce.

Dessert: Birthday Cake!!! :D

As mentioned, the spaghetti is good, and I have also had the Veal T-bone which was really good!

ENJOY!!!

:slurp:

While it's not an overly big menu, the items are all pretty good.
Our preference for appetizers is the Spinach and Artichoke Dip or the Calamari
(note: this version comes with olives)
Entrees, I enjoy the Seafood Pasta or Salmon, but dining partners have had just about everything on the menu and it's all good.
Deserts also provide a little for most any taste.

The other "problem" with Tony's is the price. Many who already think the prices for pizza and burgers in the park is too high have a negative reaction to the entrees that are $20-25.

Thanks again for everyone's help. As for the prices, we will be on the dining plan, so thats not a problem. Also, I'll be sure to ask for craig. Thanks.

Not sure if it is still on the menu but in 2000 when there I had Filet Mignon on top of Gorgonzola Mashed Potatoes... :slurp:
