Tony's Town Square Restaurant vs. The Plaza Restaurant

I have never been to either Tony's Town Square Restaurant or The Plaza Restaurant and I was wondering which of the two would be best for a first time diner. I would most likely be going for dinner.

I would go with Tony's for a nice sit down dinner. The Plaza has food that is more in the line of burgers and sandwiches.

I would choose The Plaza over Tony's for sure! We had lunch at Tony's and it wasn't worth the money. If you look at the thread about most disapointing meal at WDW you'll see there is a lot of talk about Tonys!

I have never eaten at the Plaza but I have eaten at Tony's twice and it is not worth it at all IMO. I have had many counter service that was much better than this table service.

We have dined at both for lunch and dinner. We prefer when dining at Tony's to go for lunch because the portions are smaller and the service better than it is at dinner time. However, we haven't gone the last three years since we found The Plaza. We just love it. It is a change of pace from all the "heavy" sit down meals we do. We enjoy having a club sandwich or reuben or grilled chicken with potato salad or fries, chocolate shakes and SUPERB hot fudge sundaes. The portions are huge adn the food is very good. The service can be a little slow at times, but no worse than some of the other establishments.

I think that I have decided on The Plaza. Thanks to everyone who put in their two cents. :king:
