Tony's Main Street Window ceremony happens Friday at 8:30am at Disneyland!
Woo hoo !!

Gates open at 8am, so get there EARLY!
Show your support for Mr. Baxter and be there!

I totally goofed when posting this earlier today in a tiny time window before heading out of the door. The info i received originally stated October 31st.

Glad i included the article....i guess i should have spent more time reading it instead of enjoying the great new photos and i would have seen the November 1st date.

Gosh i feel so stupid now.....

Looking forward to the forthcoming photos....and to eventually see what the design of the window is to be.

Since it was announced back in August i have been curious as to what 'occupational business' his window title will refer to.
My guess is something related to his design work.

Hoping some video turns up post-event....then at least i can enjoy the moment abet on a time delay like the Legends ceremony.
That was a nice moment to see happen.

My guess for the window is "Critter Wrangler" for Splash Mountain, which changed that land from Bear Country to Critter Country.

Well i am absolutely delighted with what the window turned out to be...though a bit sparse on graphics.
The subject matter however is utterly PERFECT for the man....cannot dissagree about that at all.
Made me twinge a little in the emotional department...


Tony’s window, located above the Main Street Magic Shop, states:

“Imagination is in the Heart of our Creations.”


PERFECT !
Just pefect...!

Of course JII fans will immediately make the connections...everything from Professor Marvel to the Original JII Attraction...to that beloved theme song "One Little Spark"

Wow.
So wish i could have been there in person for this.

Long overdue for such an amazing creator.

Two of my all time favorite attractions were his. (Temple of the Forbidden Eye of course and Journey into Imagination)

So needless to say, I'm thrilled that this has happened! Would've been awesome to be there.

Wow...so many famous folks we know who worked with Tony were there that day.
Awesome to see such a great turnout for him...i am sure he was very moved by seeing all his old colleagues of yore.

I will admit i was a little surprised to see Bruce Vaughn there. I know he kind of had to be there representing WDI, but i was under the impression he and Mr. Baxter did not really get along...?

Here is a video of the Ceremony a friend just sent to me....really nice to be able to witness this.

Congrats again, Tony. You so totally deserved this moment on so many levels.
