Tonight's performance of fantasmic

seen it person several times, and I'm not a fan of the hype that is World of Color. I will take any firework show or Fantasmic anyday over World of Color

Ok just curious. I loved it but Wishes just may be my favorite. I didn't get goosebumps from WoC like Wishes

It won't be the first time, nor the last. The show is a very complicated performance, and if multiple things don't happen exactly on cue every second any one of them can shut it down. Consider it an E stop.

As usual, exactly what I was going to say before I saw you post this

Fantasmic is an incredibly detailed show...lots of things have to go exactly right every time its performed, anything not on cue, or malfunctioning could cause safety problems or show-related issues.

I like Fantasmic! better than WoC, so I would not be happy with that switch.

Then again, I'm one of those crazy people who just loves Fantasmic! and thinks it's the best nighttime show at WDW. When I'm advising people in their planning for WDW, I generally tell them that they don't want to miss this show and to plan their DHS time around it. I actually was pretty shocked when I started reading WDW message boards and found people slamming it. I don't understand what's not to like....

Disneyland's Fantasmic is better paced and has gotten a lot of cool technical upgrades in recent years.

As beautiful as World of Color is, Fantasmic! is still better.

But Im a much bigger fan of the DL Fantasmic than WDW. When the ship came around and the CMs were swinging on those ropes!! amazing. I have to say, I was a big fan of WOC as well.

Remove Fantasmic and install World Of Color. Then live happily ever after.

World of color cannot go into where Fantasmic is. They pool is not deep enough and isn't equipped for it. They would have to literally re-design the whole stadium and the pool and put a jet system like WOC has. It will not happen, no matter how much we all would want it.

The Peter Pan sequence (big ship part) is my absolute favorite.

World of Color is still a great show and I'm definitely a fan. Hopefully the new show, Mickey and the Magical Map will be just as great!

We Californians love World of Color because it was one of the additions that saved DCA. We are very grateful for the show and you have to admit it's a beautiful show. The viewing is so big and wide. The fountains are very impressive. The way California Screamin' and Mickey's "Death" Wheel are incorporated into the show is also very cool. It's a great show but it may not be for everyone, clearly.

I'd take projections through fountains over projections on a castle any day.

No, thanks. Walt Disney didn't want a humongous castle in his park, so...

Projections on castles, or other still objects at that don't impress me like fountains do. Fountains are cooler, in my opinion. Everyone's different and prefers different things.
