All they have is basic food and there are lots of other places to eat there. It is open during the peak times

It was open last month when we were there. First time it's been open since our June 09' trip. Still haven't eaten there though.

In twelve trips I have never seen it open. Trip thirteen is planned for January. Can almost guarantee it won't be open then.

It's only open as said above during peak times or during special events. I ate there this past October and wasn't bad. Went for dinner, had most the same food as cosmics with a few different options. Was quite busy though as the DEP was starting. Went before for lunch I believe last Summer and had some kind of shrimp pasta, was good.

It is sad. Back in the late 90s/early 00s it was open every day and served the best chicken tenders (not nuggets) and stacked Italian sandwich. It was a great place for families, lots of open spaces, great views of the castle (from the lower level), good place to wait out rain, etc. We miss it.

I asked this same question on these boards in August last year. I normally don't visit the parks during "peak" times because the wife and I are seasonal passholders, but when we went for a quick trip last August, I thought, surely it has to be open then. NOPE. Still have never seen the place open for service.

We were there last Jan, March, May, Aug, Oct and Dec.....and nope. As above VERY hit or miss.

We normally go in the off season, but it was open when we were there for NYE a few years ago. Huge disappointment for us. I was so excited that it was open and was completely disappointed in the food. I had some kind of Asian-ish noodle bowl that was lukewarm. It was so blah that I can't even remember exactly what it was. Such a let down.

The women's bathroom with only 3 stalls? That bathroom? Don't use it during the Dessert party.....

Well, some of us seriously considered using the men's since the line for the women's snaked out the door and down the concourse. I'd love to get ahold of the Disney employee who decided a women's restroom in the MK with only three stalls was a good idea......

I know during the MVMCP they serve Hot Chocolate and cookies from there. Other than that I dont think I have ever payed attention to see if it was open or not.

I'm wondering if they have made any changes to that area since the park opened? That whole area seems to be pretty original. Back in "71" they probably needed a few less bathrooms than they do now.
