Site that shall not be named has photos of one of the CoP theaters new seating. Carpeting looks to be the same?

Several WDW theater shows have had their upholstery updated. While not a major change, it's nice that CoP was included.

No idea how long it will take to do the other 5 theaters.

Here's a look from a forum member (user name escapes me - sorry!) that posted about this last night on X:

I would love to see them redo the last scene and take it backwards to the World's Fair 1960 retro modern... the 1990 rehash of a 1970s setting looks terrible and it is not old enough to be cool retro, and not current enough to feel like present day, and the writing is terrible... A fresh new Mid-century look at the world of the future would be amazing....and they could use digital mapping and projection effects... Imagine the neighbors flying past the house on their space car...lol It could really freshen up and add a fun new ending.... I personally would love the "Now Is The Time" song to return.... That was specifically written for WDW.

While I love that they spent the little extra time, effort, and money to use this print and colorway, it adds another layer to the disjointed creative direction of TL.

I'm fine with the 70s throwback, but they have to actually commit to the bit and not just paint over Tomorrowland '94

And do something about the unfinished PeopleMover supports.

Very nice and very badly needed. This forum gives them a lot of noise for bad things, need to give credit where credit is due. Investing money in an attraction which isn't a headliner is a nice thing to see.

There is not currently an established design standard for TL. Bits are being replaced or refurbished independent of one other only as dictated by other work.

This only happened because they're in the middle of replacing just about every theater seat on property. Most theatrical drapery is being replaced too, but I've not heard if CoP is for sure happening. There was a new drapery package designed to match the late 60s / early 70s aesthetic of the seats... but that velour isn't cheap.

You're just mad because you still don't have a car phone

They really need to put a team on Tomorrowland that can take the various leftover structures and design elements and create a new cohesive vision... One where both Space Mountain and the Amoeba Canopy of Tron feel somewhat related and part of the same world....along with all of the other structures...They need to bring back the Gull Wing Waterfalls and give the entrance to the land a big dramatic entrance... From the hub it should grab you and pull you in....It should be a WOW in each direction... a new Entrance for Adventureland as well. Parks all over the world have much more dramatic theming than 1971 Magic Kingdom... As the world gets more detailed, the parks should also evolve....rather than devolve the way they are doing with the resorts... I think this is the wrong direction.... especially with the new Epic Universe coming....Which is clearly more immersive than the Magic Kingdom....
