Hi uh...

...does anyone know if you can make a song request at the Tomorrowland Dance Party? I've only recently passed by it, and heard some of the recent songs they played... but know nothing of the DJ's (didn't even see them), so I have no idea how things are set up and if they're approachable or anything of that sort. There's a particular old-school Disney space-related song I'd love to hear and... yeah, I'm that kind of person... a certain audience is bound to recognize and laugh, so if you could help me with this, I'd appreciate it :)

You can make requests via Twitter during the party! There's a hashtag, something along the lines of #IncrediblesSuperDanceParty, but I can't remember exactly what it is. The DJ will mention it several times throughout the set and it shows up on the screen at different points. But to my knowledge you can't approach the DJ to request anything.
Good luck in getting your song played! :)

Thanks for the tip! I will definitely try this, and also get the attention of any cast member I can... It's not just my song... it's the song of my generation...

My request is that it's removed permanently so I can enjoy area music, COP, TTA, and Astro Orbiter.

The Tomorrwland Dance Party is the worst thing currently at the Magic Kingdom.

I wouldn't disagree.
But in my case, if it's there, I'd rather hear something nostalgic and somewhat vaguely related than say... mostly everything else they play.

The DJ at DHS was *everything* to me. Like, he totally saved my life that night. The White Rabbit came over and danced with me -- he totally caught me by surprise and he is such a good dancer too, lol. That was so awesome. And, I also had fun dancing with the Genie.

Anyway, this DJ was unlike any other DJ. He did this remix with Darth Vader's Imperial March and DJ Snake's Turn Down For What and everybody around me froze and dropped to the ground started twerking -- there were guys standing on their hands twerking and break dancing & stuff, lol. It was amazing. Like, literally everyone starting dancing and headed toward the stage -- that how good this DJ was. We were headed somewhere else, but had to make time to hang out there for a minute.

DJ Snake did a little mix with Star Wars. But, the Disney DJ took his Turn Down song to a whole new level when he remixed it with Darth Vader's song.

I liked the DHS Dance party in front of the Chinese Theater. I'm assuming it's gone now that the Star Wars fireworks show is starting.

We went by the Tommorowland Dance party at MK and it was *not* the same, not bad but nowhere near as electric and potent as the one at DHS. It looked cute for what it was though, but we didn't stick around.

Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow or Now is The Time would sound good..And I don't mean from that stage.

Ignoring popular labels, I'll go with... the post-MMC, pre-HSM generation (despite my being around for both).
If you're unfortunate enough to where you have to ask, I'm sorry.
Could you clarify your last sentence? Unfortunately I'm from the "prefers to read complete sentences" generation.

Despite the fact it is a complete sentence, sure.
If you're unfortunate enough to where you have to ask which generation I hail from, one that would be aware of & keen on a song from Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, and by extension, the Disney Channel's golden era, then I'm sorry that you aren't in the know. I would've typed that, except it sounded long-winded, obvious, and more pretentious than intended.

I appear to be much older than you...

By admitting that you're a member of a generation that is aware of a song from Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, and subsequently referring to that era as the "Disney Channel's golden era", you have done nothing but prove the point that you are unqualified to make such a designation as you have not experienced enough of the Disney Channel's span to qualify a period as a Golden Era. I would assume then that you were born sometime after 1988, and thereby missed all of the Disney Channel offerings from 1983 until appx. 1993, at a minimum. And, by extension, you would have missed virtually all of The New Mickey Mouse Club from 1989 through 1995.

Sounds like some "damn millenial" argument.
For being "unqualified" and having "not experienced enough of Disney Channel's span", I've experienced 2/3rds of Disney Channel's programming and am aware (even somewhat familiar) with the other 3rd. The fanbase (should they undoubtedly exist) for the programs I have missed aren't a vocal group. Something tells me the "golden era" would be defined as the period where the channel was firing on all cylinders with its' series and films, instead of its rather weak opening when it was a premium channel. I don't need to be 40 to know that. Nothing against the channel and its programming for the previous generation, but that era (interesting as it is, from a retrospect point of view) only served as a prelude to the channel's future success. Which in turn, served as a prelude for the channel's unbelievable current success with the likes of their recent output.... (seriously. unbelievable... shoutout to Bad Hair Day, though).

In the case of Zenon...
it's a very popular television film (spawning two sequels) which happens to be bookmarked in between several other popular television films, specifically in the era where the channel's popularity skyrocketed.

My jam though. (although the album version is extended and therefore better..)
