George Clooney, Brad Bird, and Damon Lindelof! I definitely see the potential with this movie at least from a financial/box office standpoint.

Last week, Lindelof and Bird began teasing a a revelation, posting images of an archive materials box labeled “1952″ on Twitter. Inside the box, which supposedly provided inspiration for the story, is a copy of the book Model Research: The National Advisory Committee For Aeronautics 1918-1958 by military history professor Alex Roland (published in 1985), and an August 1928 edition of Amazing Stories magazine, featuring a man in a flying suit on the cover — the first appearance of the time-leaping hero Buck Rogers.
There is also what appears to be some sort of 45 record, the nozzle of a small rocket engine, and a scattering of photos of Walt Disney himself.

Looks like Walt will have/play some sort of role in this film. Other than that not much else since they're being pretty tight lipped so yeah no idea on the plot.

Honestly, when I saw the link and started the thread here, I had no idea the original working title was "1952". I just saw Tomorrowland movie and made it a thread to generate discussions. Now that I realize it, probably shouldn't have done that.

I just read about this on disney parks blog and came here do see if anyone had any further news. Sounds interestings! As it might involve Walt in a alternate reality with flying suits and space and time travel. Unless he was really invovled in space, time travel and flying suits. Kind of like the opposite of "guilty by association". You would think that Prometheus and Cowboys vs Aliens would be enough warning of what he does without JJ.

Figure that the aliens are us in a time travel scenario. Awesome idea for a movie.
Yeah, I know some folks poo-poo Jim Hill stuff, but this sounds pretty plausible.
