is it the same as wdw's? it looks like a complete clone... why didn't they make it different? sleeping beauty's is in dl, cinderella's in in florida, the one in paris, although should have been belle's castle, at least looks different, so why didn't they get creative for japan? just curious...

Tokyo Disneyland's castle belongs to Cinderella. It contains a gift shop along with Cinderella's Mysterious Tour. Its a journey into numerous rooms with several Disney villians.

The only other reason why the castle isn't different, is because the park is entirely owned by Disney. The owners wanted pretty much a replica of Disneyworld.

mickeykid,

TDL isn't owned by Disney. It's owned by the Oriental Land Co on a license from Disney...

Where cinderella's royle table is located is the home of the castle tour . The Inside and outside area are not the same either as WDW's.

Check out www.jtcent.com for some great pics on Tokyo Disneyland and video of their 20th anniversary parade / shows, they put the Disney American Parks to shame.
