It's been years since I went to Tokyo Disney and I'm curious about the current protocols getting into parks. Do the parks use walk through scanners like WDW and bag check? Does security inspect liquids like water bottles and soda cans? And check the food if we bring into the parks?

It's been years since I went to Tokyo Disney and I'm curious about the current protocols getting into parks. Do the parks use walk through scanners like WDW and bag check? Does security inspect liquids like water bottles and soda cans? And check the food if we bring into the parks?

There’s a combo system going. All lines move through a metal detector, so all phones, keys, etc. out of pockets. Half the lines have bags inspected manually (but much more thorough than pre-COVID), the other half submit their bags to X-ray machines.

God I wish we had the EVOLV scanners like at WDW but with how terribly the current system goes, I bet it would be even worse and everyone would get stopped.
