if my memory is correct, of all the floats that have been in Dreamlights since 2001, the train & druum are the only float left that hasn't been updated in some way?

The Drum float and the Train are the only floats left from 2001.

Does TDL still have Disney/JCB card holder nights? feels like it's beenm a couple years since they've done that special Christmas performance of Dreamlights.

YES they do annually, But it was altered when OUAT debut they changed the offerings from Special shows to just nighttime spectaculars Such as Fantasmic in Tokyo DisneySea and Projection show at Tokyo Disneyland.

ah ok. I wish they'd do the Christmas showstop for regular performances. it looked really cool.
