Sorry, didn't mean to scare you, just being a realist.
I mean it's risky leaving your house every morning as well.

Yeah I know, I was only joking. :animwink:

IMO half the fun of Space Mountain is the feeling it's falling apart! :D

Well in some instances the falling apart feeling isn't any form of special effect...its the REAL condition of the ride track....:lookaroun

So next time you're in DL in California...and you go on Space Mountain....hang on tight....atleast until they replace the track....

Yes, you're right!

I wonder what the reason was? Maybe because of its old age?

Isn't the WDW version of Space Mountain the oldest? If it is I think its aging wonderfully.

;)

Well I was talking about the WDW one...

Makes me wonder how bad the Disneyland one is! :zipit: :zipit:

Great! I'm scared again!

About the incident, I can't think of a good reason why it broke down??? It's the newest one and is taken care of! Maybe Roy wanted more bad publicity? Or a fan? :lookaroun :lookaroun

Splash Mountain already had its incident!

Someone stood up during the drop and sadly died!

When did this happen? The last death I remember occurring on this ride was the guy who got out of his log, tried to cross to the other side, fell into the water and was crushed by the next log.

Anyway, It wasn't because the ride malfunctioned, and I was just kidding when I said Splash was next. (I hope)

The track at DL is already being replaced. They are getting a new Space Mountain very soon.

I think the one at WDW had a wheel come off and hit someone in the head, right???

Also, we can't forget BTMR derailing at DL.

This is eerie to say the least. Poor RnR must be next. Through the Hollywood Sign, through the loop, then through the wall.

Cost cutting, layoffs, micro-managing all lead to morale and company loyalty problems...things that can possibly be linked to some of these accidents.

Not a way to make fans, but then again, Eisner only cares for the cash not the fans.
