I've got:

So. Illinois over Bama
Zona over ____ (Seton Hall) (It won't let you say S-H without the dash :veryconfu)
Charlotte over TT
Dayton over Depaul

Wouldn't be shocked to see:

Manhattan over UF
Nevada over MSU

The only difference I have in those predictions is Depaul over Dayton. (gotta give love my illinois teams.)

Look out for Manhattan, BYU, Nevada, and Dayton. Princeton will give Texas all they want and I think Air Force will take Carolina to the wire. Oh for a 5inch T.V. on my desk.

All very possible picks. I like BYU and Dayton in upsets. I think it's gonna be a wild ride this year--to me, there are no clear favorites to win this thing.

I agree, the #1's done even sound tough to me. I know St Joe and Stanford went nearly undefeated and finished 1 and 2 in the polls, but they really don't strike fear in to the hearts of everyone. and duke? please, they are not even a stand out #1 this year. The top 6 or 7 in every bracket could easily go final four, that is how close the competition is this year.

CBS changed the tournament opening sequence! That's the first thing I noticed. I loved the old opener, with the giant ball and the rays of light coming in and that absolutely rocking theme music--it was as much a part of the tourney to me as brackets, the selection show, and all the rest. *sigh*

I have got real time set up on my desktop (thanks to espn insider!) and it looks like a 12-5 upset is in the works. Flroida is down by 9 with 15 min to play. Charlotte is down by 8 with 16 min to go. and UTEP is ONLY down by 5 against Maryland at the half.

THIS IS SO EXCITING. :):):)

Manhattan has shot the 3 very well and gotten their share of offensive rebounds. Florida has been turning the ball over all day and just don't look like they have as much spirit out there.

That was me during last year's tournament; being gainlessly unemployed has its perks. :)

Looks like Manhattan is taking it to Florida. The Gators must be the most overseeded team in the history of the tourney. My poor SEC is brought down by the likes of the Gators.

<<Had to bring it back for the NCAA's

#12 Manhattan 75, #5 Florida 60

Jaspers spring tourney's first upset, and the 12 over 5 tradition continues in the tourney's first game.

#8 Texas Tech 76, #9 Charlotte 73

Bob Knight's Raiders likely will face St. Joe's next.

UTEP is playing Maryland close right now; the Miners are within 4 with 7 1/2 to go.
