Happy St Patricks Day Folks. Well my local had a Shenanigans Wake last night.I ended up coming home with a Guinesss hat the size of the Mad Hatters. Phew. Anyway what I was wondering was,has anyone had this drink they serve at Rosé & Crown.Its called a Leaping Leprechaun ? Cheers!

No new drinks, but we went out for a pre-St. Pat's yesterday, and this place had fun holiday specials. Went to a nice Irish restaurant.

Had a beer, cheddar, bacon, and potato soup. It was good but I still love my Le Cellier soup better. Still dreaming of the special Bailey's chocolate pudding they had yesterday. I will have to campaign and beg them to put it on the menu permanently. LOL!

My St. Patty's Days are pretty much over, I however woke up to my family room littered with young adults that celebrated with the Green Beer last night. My Hamlet is a teeny tiny little town and we are just down the road from the only pub. I can only imagine my house guests making the pilgrimage down the road to our home on foot, it must have been quite the sight. Similar to the sight of them scattered around with throw pillows and blankets in my family room this morning. Giggle.

My dad was from County Clare and on St. Patrick's day people liked to hear him talk, course I never noticed the accent I was used to it. Being the day it was we had to go to Mass!

Yes we had the same rule in my house!!! early mass before anything else!!! I loved when Saturday dinner time mass counted for Sunday am!!!!!

Your right..First it was Mothers Day,then St Patricks Day..This weekend I declare Hatters Day..Forget the Elephant & Leprechaun..( That sounds a good name for a pub ) Come March 23rd it's " Lets drink thro the looking glass " weekend.Special cocktails to follow..
