To Excited to Sleep

With only 6 days, 11 hours and 35 min to go until we reach Disney we are too excited to sleep! :lol:


We are used to going in the fall and this is the first time we are going in June. What should we expect the temperatures to be the 13th thru 17th? :veryconfu

Do you think we should bring out video camera or will it be too much to carry around?

Definitely bring the camera and a rain poncho. It is going to be very very hot...90's hot and very humid. Thunderstorms come and go almost daily, but are welcome sometimes to bring down the temperature. Have fun!

I understand your pain quite well...our flight leaves at 10:55am on Friday and I can't wait!!!!!

I know what u mean i can never sleep when ni am that close to disney it feels like forever till it's here.... i can't really sleep the whole night i climb outta bed at like 5 in the moring or so since we usually have a morning flight.... I just still watching Tv thinking abou the magic we are abou to encounter!! can't wait till that day!

I understand your feeling I get the same way before my trip each year. I would definetly bring the video camera. I usually don't plan to use it on everything but I like to film the parades and the fireworks. So what we normally do is rent a locker at the beginig of the day store the camera and anything we don't want to carry. Then when we want to use the camera about 1/2 hour before hand we will get it from the locker use it and then store it again to use at a later time. Sometime is can be a hassle but it definetl beats carrying the thing around with us all day long.

Its funny how going to Disney gets me excited like a kid on Christmas, I have 10 days to go until I'm in the magic, and my Disney obsession is just getting worse and worse...

We are going to drive from Houston when we go. I know I'll be up all night the night before but it's ok. I have the night shift driving. Only 165 days until we leave.

I am sitting here tonight going thru prior Disney trip photo albums with the anticipation of next Sunday. Knowing myself I won't sleep at all the night before we leave. Our flight leaves at 7:30 am and it will take a good hour and 25 min to get to the airport so we will be up an out by 4:30 am. UGH!!!!

We always drive down to WDW. The night we before we get to the park, I'm always wide awake and so excited that I have a hard time sleeping. I usually take my laptop on vacation and I've been online in the middle of the night because I can't sleep because I'm that excited! This year, we're driving from Twinsburg, instead of Allentown, so I won't be able to sleep that night either! I can't wait! August can't get here fast enough!

I always go in July...and I never remember the heat. I think it is because I dodge from ride to ride. I also love going this time of year because the Parks are open later AND I like going to the water parks.

Cameras are alway a good choice...but I get sooo caught up in the moment just being there that I forget that i have a camera. My best friend takes his camera and camcorder with him ALWAYS...we argue about it because I tell him that I'm taken it all in as he works the parks... viewing mostly thru a lense.
