Is this attraction still up and running?

We went in 2000 and really enjoyed it. If you haven't been, it's definitely one I'd recommend.

The Belfast accents were dodgy, but they managed to keep Celine Dion to an absolute minimum:sohappy:

It was the accents that got me. I mentioned it on the comment card. Probably took no notice. The worst Belfast accent since Tommy Lee Jones:lol:

Ha ha, people just love a bad accent. The worst accent i've ever heard in a film though is sean connery in highlander.

He's meant to be Egyptian!

Where is this attraction anyway?

I think the worst accent is ________ Van 's cockney english accent in Mary Poppins. Hearing him sing and talk is like someone sticking an icepick in my eye. :brick:

It is a genuinely good attraction, all we need is something like this in Belfast now. I think we could safely guarantee authentic accents:)

Worst accents, of course there is DVD in Mary Porpins (deliberate mistake). And pretty much Sean Connery in a number of films...

Russia House - Russian
Hunt for Red October - Russian
Highlander - Spanish Egyptian peacock
The Untouchables - Irish

I thought Gere made a pretty good effort, especially compared with Tommy Lee Jones.

I remember Barry Norman interviewing him on Film 9?. He asked him about how he'd perfected the accent (apparently he listened to a load of tapes). Then when it came back to Barry in the studio, he totally slagged him. Possibly the most sarcastic interview ever.

To date I've read

Maid of the Mist
Shooting Sean
The Trouble with Harry

Haven't read Divorcing Jack but I've heard it's good, wasn't very impressed with the film. I honestly thought I could have put in a better performance than David Thewliss. Just think how much better it could have been with James Nesbitt:drevil:
