Tips with Dining Plan?

No, the servers get 18% of your pretax meal, but does not include alcohol or special items like souvineer cups and glow items.
I agree with Rob 100%~ We love going to WDW, we love the transportation to and from resorts, we love the fact that with the dining plan we can stress over our ADR's at home before we go and then relax at WDW. Don't fret over the counter service meals, but if you can take a preview before you go, that way you are not surprised that " this location no longer offers french fries for my kids". Also, with the snacks, just think of them as a bonus, in AK the kids got floats that came with souvineer straws, in MK they got huge peanut butter cups and dole whip floats. Try new things and have a great time.
We saw people losing it because the kids or spouse wanted to "pay $4 for a $2.50 item"...uh, no, they wanted to use their snack credit for an item that they were hungry for!
