Does anybody have any tips on planning a very impromptu trip. We have been waiting so long to go back and just decided its time and couldn't wait any longer and are planning on making ressies for April 7-11, see how impromptu that is!!!! Ressies are still available for dining and we have spring discounts and crowds are not predicted to be heavy. Planning on staying at Pop! Tips, please!!!!????

We booked a trip 29 days before going. The first thing I did after booking was to see what table service dining was available. We were lucky enough to get into 'Ohana, our favorite, but many other normal first choices were booked. In the end it was great though because we tried some places that we normally wouldn't go to and hadn't been to before. It was also our first time at the Pop Century. We also got to experience a tropical storm for the first time during that trip, while a bit of a bummer it also cleared the parks out and we had a lot of short wait times.

The first thing I look at is airline tickets if you are flying. You could possible save several hundred dollars that can then be spent on your trip....

Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
I've done as little as 4 days, twice, by the seat of my pants. My bonus was walking onto Test Track the evening of the last day it was open before the rehab to 2.0 on the day of my arrival.

You are wiggling in between the end of Spring Break and Before Easter Break, good timing this year. The only true crowds I saw in mid-April was at Epcot, for Flower and Garden. Now that Disney has decided to evolve this event into a Spring Food & Wine the spawn of the F&W in the fall. I shook my head for the line for the "adult" Dole Whip.

We actually booked our first trip as a couple 21 days out. We got ADRs at Coral Reef, Sci-Fi, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Bongos. It was actually an amazing trip. Still one of my favorites!

Booked Feb. 18th, heading there March 21. Worked around the flights I was able to get, that wouldn't break the bank, and wouldn't have kids missing too much school. I was able to get a royal room at POR, although it is standard view. Normally, I would rather a garden view, but no biggie. Don't have my tickets yet. They should be on there way, and I'll take care of FP+ then. Have one ADR. We are really looking forward to walking outside, as we have been stuck inside too long in this miserable Midwestern winter. So, we decided, we didn't want to work a schedule around when we have to eat. I am just being really laid back about it all at this point. If this was a first or second trip, I suppose I would be a little more freaked out, but it isn't, so I'm not.
