We also love that resort! We will be there the same time period April 15-22nd. We are hoping for bldg 5 as well, as I paid for a pool view. Wanted quick and easy access to the pool. My boys love the pool and the slide. Its our 3rd time at the FQ and will always stay there until we jump to a Deluxe.

Take the boat to Downtown Disney. It's a pretty ride.
Walk the pathway along the Sassagoola River from French Quarter to Riverside. Better yet, take a carriage ride!
Enjoy an adult beverage at Mardi Grogs (poolside bar). Bartenders are exceptional here!
Try a beignet...you can't eat just one.
The jazz player (forget his name) in the lounge in the evening is fantastic.
Make sure you explore the resort grounds. And if you don't get building 4, don't worry...there isn't a "bad" building in the bunch, the resort is delightfully small.

Glad to hear they still have this! When we stayed at the French Quarter years ago, we took advantage of this quite a bit whenever we wanted to relax or go to Downtown Disney. Looks like we'll be taking advantage of it again in August when we're at Riverside.

@lovepooh if ya see a guy with buddy holly glasses, it's probably me. Look for the Epcot 30 lanyard! It's my fiancees birthday weekend, so it seems like a perfect resort to just relax in. We are AP holders so we will probably only hit the parks at night. Thanks again everybody for keepin the tips comin!

Elliot Dyson plays wed-sat nights and is very talented! The staff is all incredible and have been there for a long time. Use the boats to dtd. It is a great perk! Have a wonderful trip! My absolute favorite resort!!
