Tips for Late arrival

My flight time has changed and I won't be landing in Orlando until 7:30 PM. That means we won't be checked in to our resort until around 8:30, if we are lucky. Anybody got any tips on what we can do arriving so late. We are going on the KTTK tour the next day so we don't want to stay out to late.

Last year we went to DD and walked round and had dinner. This year we are heading to the Boardwalk for a Kitchen Sink and to check of the goings on there!! You could also just check out the resort your staying at..get the gift shop out of the way! Or how about checking out a couple of other resorts that you have not been to...see what they have to offer.

I always have to unpack and get everything put away...the clothes, the pop up hamper, toiletries, & put the suitcases away. Then we explore the resort, take a swim, get a snack/meal depending on mood. Early to bed and early to rise...

I don't know if you have a long flight, or what resort you are staying at. We usually get in even later than expected because of flight delays, so no ADR's. Just check-in. Hit the food court. DTD is a good idea, or if the weather cooperates, you could check out the pool/hot tub. We just relax, take it easy, and hit the ground running in the morning!

They all sound like good plans. I didn't think about DD. I thought about catching some fireworks but I don't know if it would be worth the hassle especially with the usually crowed bus trip back. :ROFLOL:

If I was getting in that late, i'd prob unpack, have a mooch round the resort, maybe a little swim and then off to bed to get up early!

Downtown Disney-like others have said, or just a swim in the pool. I am usually really tired after my flights so I just hit the room and hit the bed early
