Tips for first time AP holder?

In 3 weeks I will be taking my first full trip with an AP. I have heard about the glasses for Osborne lights and I have a DDE card for meal discounts. Anyone have any other little tips or perks I should try to take advantage of while we are there? Any other little "extras" that might make our trip even more magical?

This is a special "reward" trip for my daughter successfully completing her first semester in college. :xmas:

Have you received your exchange card in the mail? I received mines but I still cannot access the AP website using the numbers on the back of the card.

We like to use the buy one/get one free at the mini golf places! What a bargain!

You also get a discount on DisneyQuest and many of the shops at DTD (not just World of Disney). Of course, there are the room discounts and I agree that the Tables in Wonderland card (formerly DDE) is well worth the $60 it costs. Enjoy and congrats to your daughter.

Pretty much. I simply told the CM that a little birdie told me that AP holders got free glasses. She checked our AP's and gave us glasses. You can also do the Disney Magic thing and give them to a stranger on your way out.

Nothing all that mind shattering. They give the lights kind of a rainbow/kaleidescope effect. Quite honestly if they were not free I would not have gotten them.
