I am not sure about tipping when you are on the dining plan. Do you just leave a cash tip. Since you are not using a credit card for your meal. I wasn't sure what they were trying to say on another thread. I thought they were saying that you have to put it on a card. We are trying to deal with cash (no bills when we get home). I would think they can't make you pay with a card and do they tell you how much you have to leave them we are a party of 3.

You can leave it however you want. You can use cash, a credit card or your room key if it is set up for charging.

We know how much to leave but it sounded like they were wanting you to charge it and that you needed to put the amount before they ran it. According to another thread it just sounded more complicated than I thought it was. We last were on the Dining plan when tip was included.
We always use cash for tips when we use the dining plan. When they hand us the bill, there's a line for the tip. We just write "cash" on that line so they know not to automatically charge it to our room key. Then we just leave our tip in cash when we leave. I don't like to have anything charged to my room or credit card unless I absolutely have to.
