Tip Marvel Iceberg Expands (Marvel At WOD)

Got to spend some time in World of Disney today, and my jaw dropped when I saw an entire (small) Marvel section in the boys section. It features Marvel comic books and graphic novels, action figures, and other action figure collectibles.

And so Marvel continues to creep its way into Walt Disney World I suppose

I thought the Marvel stuff at WoD has been there for a while now... Might have expanded a bit, but it has been there.

I can't wait until we start having Marvel Weekends at DHS. How awesome would that be??

Okay, obviously can't happen because of the Universal thing, but stealing the Star Wars Weekend format would be fantastic.

I noticed Marvel toys for sale at the Toy Store in Downtown Disney in Florida back in November. Then again, that store has always had lots of toy lines, so maybe they've always sold Marvel stuff there.

I think it's funny that those R2D2 light chaser toys (and Star Wars Disney Racers) are for sale in just about every store in all the parks.

I remember Looney Tunes toys and Batman merchandise for sale at the Disney MGM Studios many years ago.

For a while, I think many stores in Disney Parks had Pokemon stuff, too.

On the flip side, I've recently seen Disney and Marvel items for sale at Six Flags!
