Tinkerbell model to appear at Disneyana Show

Margaret Kerry, the model for the original Tinkerbell in Disney’s “Peter Pan” movie, is set to appear Sunday at the Disneyana Fan Club Show and Sale in Garden Grove.
Kerry modeled for Walt Disney’s animators as they were developing and animating the feature-length film that premiered in 1953.
Also at the convention will be Mark Silverman, the voice of Rod Serling in the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction at Disney California Adventure, and Bill Farmer, the voice of Goofy.

Sunday’s show and sale costs $5 for club members and $6 for non-members. Club members can enter at 9 a.m. and everyone else can enter at 10:30 a.m. The show is set for the Crowne Plaza Resort, 12021 Harbor Blvd., in Garden Grove near Disneyland.
Before the show will be a pin and button trading event from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at the same location. The trading event is free and open to all Disney fans.

I just wish some new dealers would come to the show and sale. It's always the same people with the same stuff. I decided to skip this January sale.
