Definitely seems like the WDW events are slowing down. The full marathon is still only 86% full. Price increases finally biting them back?
I think the running craze has leveled off nationwide. But don't expect any runDisney price drops in the near future. :)

Not sure if they found last minute bibs, or if they truly didn't fill up registration this year, but the runDisney site did have a banner indicating last minute registration for Tinkerbell was available until 4/18.

Where would you recommend my family be on the course. They didn't get ChEar Squad.
The DLR courses aren't as friendly for out of town spectators at the WDW courses are. Lots of people end up watching the last 1/4 mile or so by Paradise Pier Hotel. Since the course goes through lots of streets, there are plenty of places you could watch from, but unless you know the area I'd not do it personally.

How did everyone do? I got swept up between mile 9 and 10 but I knew that might happen. It was still lots of fun, I'll just have to try again. I've also decided to be a volunteer in the future.

Nice job to all the runners!

I, too, am highly interested in volunteering. If I can run 2 out of the 3 races, I do not see why I cannot volunteer at the third race or at the Expo. Hmmm, I will look into this.

Any truth to the reports that runDisney significantly reduced character interactions this weekend? I'm hearing zero character stops along the 5K route today, and the same planned for the 10K. Is this the new runDisney normal?
