Does anyone know if Timekeeper and COP will be open Christmas week? We will be heading down and I would love to be able to see them.

Timekeeper is a not-to-be-missed attraction. Oh well, I'll just miss it because it opens seasonally.

COP should be operating Christmas week. Timekeeper, I am hoping so, but I am not sure. Things look grim for it, but keep your fingers crossed!

why are they closing?
because there outdated and just plain boring, although timekeeper is cooler than cop it gets boring too after about 3 or 4 trips. Id rather have them then nothing but if we got something in there place like extra terror... Id go for that in a heart beat

Extra Terrorestrial is a good attraction, but it really does not belong in Magic Kingdom. Id love to see them keep Timekeeper and CoP. They are classics.

I personally hate Extra Terrorestrial...and the other guy is right, it certainly is not a fit with MK. MK does not in any way, shape, or form need more rides like it. What it needs are the classics (Timekeeper and CoP) to be re-opened or newer rides like these to be built. Out of all the parks, MK is the one most meant for families (in IMHO) and to add more rides that cannot be enjoyed by all members of the family would be a travesty.

If there is something the COP isn't, it's outdated. Same for Timekeeper. But in general, a lot of people in that age group would seem to agree.
I hope they can figure out a way to create a new COP motor...I am sure it is possible - it just takes some thinking with mind and heart...
Oh, and of course when it becomes a reality, it'll be a dream come true. For you and me!

Using an attractions theory on itself? :animwink:COP is pretty much timeless, It has a solid recolection of the past and present and if kept updated could last a long long time(kinda like they updated the last scene, by the way anyone have a video with the old scene) anyway, the gear thing kinda makes sense but I hate to see it go. as for timekeeper, any theatre in the round could use a rehab. thats one we always walk buy, a mean you walk and walk and walk and walk, and then make you stand during a show. it may be a good show, maybe they can install seats or something then maybe it will draw a bigger crowd. as for the extra terestrial, that dosn't fit, it's a terrible ride and needs to go.

This is doubtful, I think he might mean the queue or outside area?? If it was gutted, boy! That was (A) fast!! and (B) I am sure someone would have known this sooner!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Was just there last week...the queue area is being used for the pictures, not the inside of the attractions. In fact, when we first got into tomorrowland, we though CoP was open!! We were jumping for joy until realized it was just the line for the MVMCP pictures.
