Just wondering - is the week after Thanksgiving still a good time to visit the parks - as far as crowds go??

I don't know if this is still true, but it used to be that the slowest period was from the week after Thanksgiving to the week before Christmas.

My Wife and I spent our Honeymoon there a few years ago, Dec. 2nd - 9th. It was great. No wait times, except for the fastpass rides, very little wait times at walk up counter service, and beautiful weather during the day. Might want to preare for unseasonably cool nights, but other than that, it's a great time to visit.

Planning on being there either Nov/Dec. this year as well.

But, if you're going to stay at an All Star Resort, book as early as possible. You'll have Pop Warner, Cheerleading Champs. , etc. etc. so they'll be filled with noisy kids.

Oh yes the late Nov/early Dec is a dream at WDW, if you get to the parks early then its almost like you've got them to yourselves. I would definately recommend that time plus the Christmas decorations go up and they look fantastic!

That week is excellent as well as the week after that. Just went this past December 10 thru 15- the weather was lovely, the wait times minimal, only Saturday at Magic Kingdom was unbearably crowded.

In my opinion that is the best time to go. I've done it several times and with regards to crowds, the longest wait time (excluding Test Track) I experienced was abotu 10 minutes. I think I used Fast Pass on maybe 2-3 attractions, and even in those cases it wasn't really needed.
