Time for the the yearly canceling of the ABC shows :(

The Muppets being cancelled was a dumb decision. People wanted it to be The Muppet Show they all loved and remembered when from the first promo we all knew it wasnt going to be that way.

I'm glad Galavant had an ending to this season. It seemed to know it was going to be cancelled. At least it might live on on stage. Sad about Agent Carter and while a Muppet fan, didn't get invested in the new series.

It should be noted that, in addition to Agent Carter, ABC has opted to not pick up the Marvel's Most Wanted series. I'm not sure if these moves indicate less faith in the Marvel brand, at least when it comes to network television, or that they just don't want to "dilute" Agents of SHIELD.

I think they are trying to put all their eggs in AOS so they can hopefully save it. It's always been an on the bubble show.

Nashville is being shopped around. Hopefully someone picks it up. I hate when they cancel shows this late in the season, you can't get a proper ending. And everyone was shocked it was dropped.

Not ABC but I found it interesting that CBS moved Supergirl to the CW. I'm thinking this is a good thing plus with the Goodwife also leaving I don't need CBS access any more so that's one monthly fee gone. Thanks CBS!

Aww, that's sad. Is it too late to bring Bobby and Hunter back to AoS, they were way better than Mack.

What are you talking about? Mack is great. Hunter was awesome until they started hamming it up with the romance with Bobbi. Bobbi... Where do I begin? First, Bobbi is short of Roberta, NOT Barbara. Minor quibble, admittedly. Second, how can you have Mockingbird (and she IS Mockingbird, just without the codename and costume) without Hawkeye? As a long-time comics fan, it just FEELS wrong. Granted, at least now we don't have to watch an adaptation of Hawkeye yelling at her because she let her rapist fall to his well-deserved death.

Mack always felt like Tripps replacement to me, but Tripp was way better.

Yeah Agent Carter and Nashville bum me out.

Yes, I really liked Nashville, especially the music and the emphasis on fresh songwriting. I liked the annual "Nashville On the Record" concert events.

I do think that the constant sadness and drama in the plotlines of recent seasons took away from it. They should have let the characters be happy for a while and showed more of the regular drama of touring and songwriting, with some of the harsher drama thrown in for spice. But over the last season or two they really ground a lot of things to a halt too often with melodrama. I think that killed it. It was otherwise a stellar cast with likeable characters who also happened to be talented musically.

I also heard that the show employed 500 or so people in and around Nashville. It was also nice to have an "insider" type of show about artists that wasn't entirely focused on New York or L.A. It helps remind people that good music and entertainment is made sometimes in flyover country.
