Time for Honey I shrunk the Audience to go?

God i hate that Pre-show soooooo much, its the worst one ever, this is one place where i would be very very happy to see a Sponser pull out.

The preshow is longer than the actual show, and can't Kodak tell NO BODY CARES.

We almost walked out during the preshow as we felt it was such a waste of valuable time. While others did. Needless to say i have never been back onto HISTA. I went on it once in Paris when it was new there and loved it, but in Florida it just gets shown up by the quality of the other 3D attractions in the Area.

I totally agree that the movie itself feels outdated and old and needs to be changed, but I guess I'm the only one who enjoys the Kodak pre-show film. The kid with the lost dog just gets to me as well as the girl kissing the frog,I guess it doesn't really have much to do with imagination but I REALLY just like that pre-show, I just find it really nice,I also used to like the old pre-show with the True Colors song. This is the one and only attraction that I enjoy the pre-shows more than the actual attraction!!!I guess I'm very strange!!!

I do like Honey I Shrunk the Audience. It is a little old, but still good.

I think they still run it because it can stil get a theater full of people and is, in some respects, easily and cheaply, so why would Disney get rid of it if it still serves a pupose?

Besides, they probably don't have anything different to put in its place right now. :)

Incredibles wouldn't fit very well in Epcot. I do agree however, that it needs to go. Definitely one of my least favorite attractions.

I too think that the imagination pavilion is a little too dated.
i almost never go over to it when i visit epcot.
i think it needs a new e-ticket attraction as big as soarin or M:S,that not only would increase the visitor numbers more but it would hopefully make the lines for soarin',TT and M:S more copeable.

Yes, let's get rid of it and put back Captain EO! ....Erh...or is that just wishful thinking from my younger years?

You mean... you mean... you mean... Michael Jackson?

This thread is getting a bit odd.. wishful thinking from your younger years...??? :veryconfu

Now I don't know whether or not I like HISTA but I disagree with this. Pretty soon everything in WDW will be E-ticket! I for one happen to like the less popular rides and think that they have a certain charm.

I personally don't like HISTA anymore only because all of the other 3D films has passed it up technically. Maybe it they were to film a new movie in 3D but without the whole "Honey I shrunk the kids" reference then I might think about going in there again. Just my personal opinion.

I always thought the idea of Timekeeper was cool, and it would be even cooler in 3D with HISTA's motion-based floor. They could make a pretty fun time-travel show and it would still fit in with Imagination.

I was thinking the same thing. Kind of like the Jimmy Nuetron ride at Universal.

How about a new film based on WALL-E? (Jim Hill posted an interesting article on the plot of the new film). From the sound of it, it would fit well in the theme of Futureworld, as well as work in DL's TL.

The Timekeeper was like one of my favorites in all of WDW, never understood why they only had it open seasonally,I just saw that Laugh Floor Comedy Club and was mildly amused,it was OK but I'll take Timekeeper over it any day, so if you wanted to make a renovated Timekeeper to replace HISTA, go for it!!!

I only saw HISTA in DLR, but have long felt it is way outdated. After seeing Philharmagic, I really wanted them to put that in its place in DLR. But of course, I can't make that recommendation for WDW. :) But definitely, something needs to take its place. It is time...

I have never had the joy of seeing Figment. :( It was closed by the time I came in 2004. *sigh* It is so beloved, I wish I had seen it. Any chance there is something on YouTube with it?
