Time For a Hollywood Studios Makeover?

Now, really. There is no way Disney is going to include scenes from R-rated movies in the Great Movie Ride. So forget the mob movies. As for Star Wars, I've suggested that the Alien scene be replaced with a scene inside the Millennium Falcon, with AAs of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, and the bots on the run from the Empire (we'd exit the scene just as the Falcon goes into lightspeed. That could be a nice effect). But really, The Great Movie Ride celebrates the older films, the timeless classics, Old Hollywood. I wouldn't want it to include too many contemporary films, if any at all.

As mentioned above, Alien is rated R. I don't think it matters what the movie is rated as long as they don't show any of the R rated elements. And I don't think Indy and Alien are considered "old Hollywood." I honestly think sticking to old Hollywood movies would keep the ride limiting and too dated feeling.
