Tim Allen Says 'Santa' Not All Fun
NEW YORK (AP) -- Tim Allen says working on his new movie "The Santa Clause 2" wasn't all fun and games. He tells the entertainment program "Extra" that playing two different Santas to hundreds of screaming kids who were elves was not fun. He also says he thinks crew members had to pour water on one youngster to get her to shut up. In the movie, Allen plays Scott Calvin, who has been Santa Claus for eight smooth years. However, Santa's problems begin when he finds out that his son, Charlie, has landed on this year's "naughty" list. Desperate to help his son, Scott heads back home, leaving a substitute Claus to watch over things at the Pole. But when the substitute makes some changes to the definitions of naughty and nice, Christmas is put at risk and it's up to Scott to return with a new bag of magic to try to save Christmas. "The Santa Clause 2" is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 1.
