Can anyone tell me why when I search for the Tiki Room lyrics on google I get a bunch of hits on lyrics by Hillary Duff? Did she remake that song?

Sadly, yes. Hillary Duff remade it on one of the Disney Mania CDs...I wanna say it was the first one. My roommate used to blare it daily...I think just to annoy me ;)

Original show closed in 1997.

Can't stand the new version.

There needed to be more of a balance. The unceasing voice of Gilbert Gottfried and rap music do NOT make way for a timeless attraction. . .

Perhaps you should have started this statement with "In My opinion" Grizz

Apparently a LOT of people dissagree with you.

Again..I say to the thread originator..try this attraction and make your own judgement about it.
You and your kids might enjoy it more than the original vsion.

As far as Rap...I'm sorry Grizz...It's not going away...I'm sure you'll be hearing a lot more of it in future attractions so you better brace yourself.

Lets celebrate the Future..Hand in Hand. :animwink:

It may be just a matter of time before them Country Bears are "Gettin Jiggy"

You wish. ;)

Sorry I wasn't clear in labelling my post as it was an opinion.

So here's the offical proclamation: My non-factual posts are opinions. :D

Hmm, I just read the review of the Tiki Room in the Unofficial Guide and apparently it might not be good for small kids as I guess they have added plunging the room into darkness along with thunder and lightning as well as an evil, scary-looking goddess with red glowing eyes.

I don't think I need to have my 4 and 5 year old having nightmares about that for the rest of the trip.

Maybe when they are older...

I have seen 4 and 5 yo kids comings coming out of this attraction laughing their heads off.

I have also seen 4 and 5 year olds come out of this attraction screaming, crying, and holding onto their Mommies for dear life.

Only you know how your kids will react.

Yeah, the Goddess is pretty scary looking. It features newer animatronics technology and moves pretty convincingly, like a real person. However, if you're holding your kids in your arms I think it will be OK.
