Sorry if this has been asked before.... a million times... I did do a search.

But....

Why does Tigger have a black nose in the parks....? His nose is pink in books, merchandise and in the movies.

Have they tried Tigger with a pink nose...? He's never looked quite right. I guess this coupled with the fact he's virtually luminous orange is the reason why he doesn't to me.

This was maybe 8 years ago when pins were at their peak, but we were at the cart pin station in front of the confectionary (facing the train station) and there was this lady going through these pins like a mad women. Then I overheard her conversation with another costumer and she mentioned that she was looking for a tigger pin with a black nose because they accidentally produced some and were slowly removing them and replacing them with pink nose tiggers. Weird that I remember that story...

I've never done it, but I believe that if you're part of D23, you can submit this question as an "Ask Dave" (although it's not Dave anymore) question.

Its disturbing how hip disney is trying to be in that video, must admit tho tigger looks great like that. Idk why disney has such a hard time with the pooh characters, piglet has always looked a little off to me ( I think its his shirt), and can anyone remember how many changes pooh has had? he used to walk around with a hunny pot on his head, then there was 90s pooh who always looked a little skinny, now he finally looks good. When they introduced rabbit, he was the only one that looked right to me. Tigger might not have a pink nose, but I've kind of gotten used to him lookin that way in the parks. Seems like hes been that way forever. I think him and Tigger, Goofy, and Pluto were the only ones who havent changed for a loong time.

Side question: Is the tigger in the video an articulated head? If it is, I didn't realize they are using it outside the castle shows.

While there are articulated characters the majority are used for the Disney Live Shows.

The only ones being used at the parks are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Chip, And Dale

The live tours Have Daisy and the entire Winnie the Pooh cast.

Pretty sure Timon at FOLK is articulated as well.

Again sorry if this is stupid but why does black make it better visibility for the performer.... surely pin would be as it's lighter?

In nighttime perhaps, but go outside in bright daylight with pink and black sunglasses.

Which allow you to see better? And furthermore, which cover your eyes better from the outside world.

The black ones.
