Tickets?

Does anyone know when ticket prices go up for 2005?

I only ask because my parents, boyfriend and I are going down to WDW January 6th, and my parents and I plan on giving my boyfriend some money towards his Park Hopper Pass for his birthday and his birthday is December 31st... but if the ticket prices go up before January 6th, we will just buy the Park Hopper Pass and make him give us the difference so we can get the (cheaper) 2004 rate.

Thanks!

I would recommend contacting Pam with Kingdom Konsultants. She seems to be up to date on all ticket price information. She would probably be able to help you.

Hey, speaking of tickets has anyone tried Maple Leaf Tickets?

http://www.mapleleaftickets.com/orderform.htm

The prices seem good, but I am not sure if they are much less then TDS. We have alot of tickets to buy for our next trip (3 adult 7 day hoppers and a child and 3 5 day hopper and a child) so that would add up fast.

Also if the prices are going up we might as well get them now. (as long as we are buring cash fast. I am really counting on winning that Visa all win all your 2004 charges for free thing! :p )

This has nothing to do with tickets, but I'm leaving for WDW the same day as you!!
Very cool... maybe I'll see you around! Where are you staying? We're at ASMusic... Pop Century was booked and I am rather upset.

Gasp! What no AKL. How will you manage? :p Just joking.

I hope you have a great trip. This is an important one. If he doesn't end up a Disney Nut, is he really worth hanging on too? I am joking now, but a tiny bit serious. I know how much you love it and want to share with those in your life. (Don't worry he will love it.)

I tried looking through the 2005 booklet for you but could not find a definative answer. It Shows that it begins on Jan. 1. It may be that you can purchase today and not worry about it. Don't park hoppers stay good for a lengthy amount of time? If you get there on the 6th you will have to pay the higher price.:(

DisneyPhD is right...if he doesn't become a disneyfreak like the rest of us you better just let him go. Or, do what i did and force him into it with vacation repitition:D

Ok, well I am now waiting a bit to purchace park tickets. There was a qoute in the e clubhouse news for DVC members

"All this, plus the announcement of a long-awaited Member perk, a chat with the superheroes behind the scenes of The Incredibles, and much, much more to enjoy within our winter issue, arriving in your mailbox soon."

This announcment is rumored to be a discount ($100 off) AP and PAP ($125 off). If that is the case it would better for us to do this instead of 7 day park hopper pluses. Too cool. I am very excited about his and hope it is true. (but if it is we are going to need more points to make up for all the "extra trips" an AP inspires. :sohappy: :sohappy:

Now don't hold me to this, but in the past, ticket prices usually get raised sometime in the spring, like April. We're going in Feb, but will probably wait until Jan to buy our 7 day park hopper passes, so I hope I'm right.

Looks like we're in the same boat. We're going Jan 5-15, and we're taking my girlfriend for her first trip to the world...hopefully she becomes a Disney nut too!! We picked up her ticket early at AAA (4 day PH, $213), and then she's going to pay us back. I was going to pick up part of it for our anniversary/Christmas, but as it turns out, I'll just be buying her Universal Studios Pass instead. I'd probably reccommend buying one now and having him pay you guys back. That way you're guaranteed the current price (like it's gonna go down :p ).

I like the sounds of your rumor! have you heard if there any rumor to when this discount might become start if it happens. We are going to be going in 17 days and I am planning on getting AP's this year. I was also going to go to the Disney Store this week and pick up vouchers. Well, I guess now I will wait and pick them up when I check in.

The rumor is it starts Jan 2nd 2995. That has many people who just bought AP or are going to before then feeling very bummed. If it is indeed true (we should find out shortly when the vacation magics comes out.) You might want to get PH for this trip and get your AP start of next trip. The rumor was started by someone who said their DVC guide told them.

This is something DVC has been requesting for years. If it is indeed true then the rate is even better then FLA residents. :sohappy:

Nope, no... no AKL this time around. After Christmas and everything else, we don't want to spend too much on this trip... but I will be very sad not staying there.

Yeah... if he doesn't like it there, I don't know what I will do! (I hope he loves it!)
