Mousesavers is reporting ticket prices being raised Aug.2. If I buy tickets for next Jan. could I still get in:shrug: on a 4/3 resort deal if they offer it again? Or do you have to purchase the whole package to get the 4/3 deal?

You could get the 4/3 deal with a one day ticket. All packages must include a one day base ticket or greater.

What brent said is correct. You will need to purchase at least a one day ticket to book a package. In the case of the old 4/5 deal I am not sure if it was possible to get less than a 7 day ticket. It very well might have been possible to do this but I never tried it.

It was. You could get a 1 day ticket if you wanted.

Thanks. I thought it might have been possible but never had a client booking a 4/3 that wanted less than a 7 day ticket.

Yes. To book any package you must purchase at least a one day ticket. You can hold onto that ticket and credit it towards your AP renewal. This is a pretty common practice during free dining promotions.

If you want the benefits of a specific package, yes you would have to buy tickets. For example: I had APs and wanted free dining, I had to buy two one-day base tickets to get the package. I still used my APs to enter the parks and saved the one-day admissions to upgrade later. In February I upgraded one to an AP for myself on a solo trip, when we go in August I'll upgrade the other to a 7-day hopper for my son.

Darn, becasue I have been going by the current ticket prices and that is what I have been budgeting and saving out of my paycheck so I will not have to pay w/ cc. So what is the expected amount that they are going up?

I believe that was just the water park pricing.

They will probably go up about 5-6%.
