Tickets for off property guests

Just a question regarding the new wristband format. I understand that if you are a WDW resort guest, then your key card, tickets and dining plan (if applicable) are all combined under the wristbands. But what if we are staying off property? Do our tickets still come in the old format of a plastic card, or are they, too, a wristband format?

Tickets are a plastic or paper card that had RFID "touch to use" capability. (Look for the MyMagic+ logo of a Mickey head inside a circle on the back to denote it's RFID-capable)

Rumors were that Bands would eventually be offered for sale to non-hotel Guests, but if it comes to that it'll most likely be one of the very last steps in the roll-out.

The RFID cards can be used for entry to the park, accessing the FP+ reservation kiosks and checking into the attractions when using your FP+.
