I am trying to find tickets for 1 day busch gardens. For some reason I can only seem to get websites that offer ticket linked with other parks (e.g. Busch Gardens/Seaworld).

Also, Is there an opportunity to purchase fastpass (queue skip)? - I dont mind paying the extra money.

There are several options directly on the Busch Gardens website. http://seaworldparks.com/en/buschga...Tickets/Florida-Visitor-Offers/Special-Offers shows the basic options. You save $10 bucks on a single day ticket (with no extras) buy buying it online through there.

They also have a Quick Queue option for some of their attractions. There is the "regular" version which allows one turn on each of the attractions in the Quick Queue line, and an unlimited version.

http://seaworldparks.com/en/buschgardens-tampa/Book-Online/Dont-Forget Scroll down a little for details on Quick Queue (its a small link under the pictures)

Very welcome! Just representing my (new) hometown park. Finally got a chance to visit about two weeks ago, it's a short 10-15 minute drive away.

Nice one. I may as well ask you another question then :)
Would you recommend purchasing the quick access or could I just judge it on the day - we are going 22nd July 2012.
I hope the move to your house/apartment was good and you are feeling settled now? :D

Well, we went on a Wednesday, and focused on the animal exhibits as opposed to the rides. So for us, the Quick Queue wasn't even on the radar as an option. For a Sunday in July, it might be more beneficial if you plan on hitting all of the big coasters.

What we did do, however, was purchase the ticket that included the all day dining, which is the first option on the first link I posted above. For the same price of a regular gate ticket, you get to eat all day at the several participating restaurants. You can also go in the line and only get a drink, dessert, etc if you wanted... it's not that you have to get a full meal each time through line. For the 10 extra bucks, it was well worth it. We only ate one full meal, lunch, as the park closed at 6 p.m. that day. But our lunch would have cost upwards of $15 each alone... plus we had a mid morning snack at one place, and a late afternoon snack at another.

It was a slower day at the parks to be sure, so the lines at the restaurants weren't that long in the late morning and later afternoon hours. Even if the lines are longer, and you only used the deal for lunch, and purchased drinks and snacks out of pocket at stands for the rest of the day, you should still come out ahead.

Agree on the dining!
We ordered online in April and did the all day dining thing. Definately worth it. You can buy it once you enter the park but I believe it was $30.
We only had one full meal but used a few times for drink or snack - probably saved us $15 per person vs. paying out of pocket.

Only caveat is that it's not accepted at every restaurant ( but most of them ).

Ya, it's only good at 5 or 6 of the counter service restaurants. If the lines aren't long, it's easy to grab a drink or snack/dessert item and not have to pay anything for it. But at one point in the afternoon we were parched, and when we passed one of the locations, the line was very long... not worth standing in to grab drinks. So we did end up paying out of pocket for drinks at a few points to save the time and headache of standing in a long line.

But definitely, as long as you eat at least one meal with an entree, side/dessert and a drink, you are definitely going to come out at least a few bucks ahead with that option. I hope they still have it when my family returns in August.

I was also thinking of getting the Quick Pass (one time), but wifey suggested just to see what the park is like on the day...and then buy it if we need it in the park?
We will be in the park on July 22nd (next month!!!! Wooo!!!)

That WILL be your best bet. I have been there last week in July and the crowds did not warrant buying it.

Crap news for me...

I emailed Busch Gardens about the problem order my tickets with food pass....and on the UK site, I cant find that deal :(

"Thank you for contacting Busch Gardens. I do apologize for the difficulty you are having with the web site. You are viewing one designed to only take US credit cards. Our marketing department has different promotions for different areas of the world. Unfortunately, not all web sites have the same promotion. I have included the UK web site, that works for the European countries. I do hope that you find the products that you want."

Just moved house...mental but very happy. Wish and I are unpacking every night! Anyway, Busch Gardens got back to me and said they have sorted their website. So got my tickets from the .com (better price and deals) using my UK credit card. Woo! Thank you Jacquelyn from Busch Gardens. :D
