Tickets for 1 park....1 section ONLY.

.....what would you choose? To be more specific: we know that WDW park tickets are pushing $100. Let's say that Disney started offering $40 tickets (for everyone) but the catch is you can only go into ONE park and stay in ONE particular area of that park. What would be your choice?

For me, it would probably be a toss-up between MK Tomorrowland (Buzz, SM, CoP, TTA) and the ToT/RnRC area of DHS.

I would just pay the full price and do what I want and eat where I want. This question hurts my brain to much when thinking of that limitation (LOL)
Earlier this year we were staying offsite and thought about going over to MK or Epcot for the evening as we did not have a lot of time. If there had been a partial admission choice we would have done so, but did not want to waste a full day admission price for a few hours at most. So in this case, it would not have been a limitation, but an option.

You make a valid point there however if this were a real scenario then surely a reduced admission for a 'partial day' would be a better option. If it was a ticket restricted to one section (say Tomorrowland), that area would become very crowded with the normal guests and 'restricted' guests all fighting for standby lines and food etc. However if you could pay say $40 for the last 4 hours with no restriction on the section, then the crowd distribution would be much better.

Anyhow I'm aware this is all 'hypothetical' so in answer to the op it would probably be Tomorrowland for me :)

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
Hollywood Studios... As there really shouldn't be considered a "section" there because nothing is particularly themed to anything. So I have a whole park.

I almost wish they had the letter book option again and here's why. Next year my wife, infant daughters, and I are taking the DCL cruise and staying at VWL and ending at BLT. Now, that being said, there won't be a whole lot for two ten month olds to do. I don't want to miss the ambiance of the parks, but we won't be riding a whole lot..and yes I am aware of baby swap. So, just a park admission and wandering around would be nice without having to pay almost $100 bucks just to walk. Does that make sense?

Not sure if we can choose outside of WDW, but if we can..................then Fantasyland at Disneyland for sure.

In WDW I would choose Frontierland because there are some of the best attractions there.

I think I'd go with MK - Tomorrowland. Space Mt sells itself, but also the TTA, CoP, etc. But biggest of all for me, the nostalgia factor. Going back to when I was a kid, we'd always make a beeline straight for SM at rope drop, and TL was always my favorite section of the park.
