Tickets beyond length of stay

We recently went to WDW for 7 nights (Wilderness Lodge), but we bought the 10-day park hoppers with no expiration. We only used 5 days off those.

I'm assuming we need to keep our Key to the World cards for next time?
Are the days tied to just those cards?

What should happen if the cards are lost? or forgotten next time?

Is there a way Disney can pull the 5days based on records?

I would make a photocopy of the front of the card and carry it separately from the rest of your vacation information, so if you have to replace the key you have the ID number for the cards. I would put this copy in your luggage or leave it with a friend to be able to fax it to you just in case!! Belle
