Ticket Tranferred: Now Safe to Remove Linked Friend From MDE?

Hey all. A friend couldn't make an upcoming party event. So they transferred the ticket to me via MDE. I now have the ticket showing as assigned to me.

If I now remove/unlink that friend from me in my MDE account...will this have an adverse effects on the ticket that was transferred to me? Will it be also be removed?

I ask because if I un-link the friend, it will be just one in my party (me) and it "should" eliminate an extra screen when selecting Fastpasses (the screen to select which person you are picking Fastpasses for)
