Hey all another question I am a AAA member in MI and I was just wondering if there is a price differance if I purchased tickets through them or just through Disney itself

Hi - I am not sure about tickets, but when I called Disney and asked them if they would honor my AAA discount for my resort, they did! I did it that way in case there was a problem tieing everything together - like tickets, dining, etc. - or if there was a change in plans. Y'know who would know? Disney - or Kingdom Konsultants!

There was a big difference when I went to my AAA office. For the MYW pass I wanted I saved at least $24 from AAA compared to Disney itself.

We have booked through AAA local office twice, and I do believe that the discount is ONLY for the room, not the tickets, and definitely not on the dining plan.
AAA and CAA Resort Hotel Discounts
American Automobile Association (AAA) and Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) members qualify for "room only" discounts almost year-round, though there are a limited number of rooms available for each date. You can generally save about 10-20% at the Disney resort hotels, depending on the season.
In general, the discounts run as follows:
AAA/CAA rates for all of the following year are usually released in the summer. 2008 AAA/CAA "room only" discounts were released on August 5, 2007.
AAA and CAA Resort Hotel Discounts

- During Peak Season and Summer Season you can usually get up to 10% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 15% off at the Value and Moderate resorts.
- The only time AAA/CAA discounts don't usually apply is Holiday Season (around Christmas) at the Value and Moderate resorts.

Usually there is, like everybody else already said. Plus, you get a Diamond Parking Pass (which I have never bothered to use because we use WDW transportation while there) and some coupons and stuff if you book it through AAA.

Okay, just pulled my numbers. We saved approx. $225 off Disney rack rate on our 5 night vacation this year at the Poly (MYW+dining) using AAA discount.
Here are the 2008 AAA package inclusions:
2008 Package Inclusions
Your client's Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining includes room accommodations and a Magic Your Way Base Ticket. In addition, your client receives:
One table-service meal per person, per night (ages 3+) – One adult table-service meal includes one entrée and one dessert (lunch or dinner only), one juice (breakfast only) and one single serving non-alcoholic beverage, or one full buffet. One child table-service meal includes one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert (lunch or dinner only) and one single serving non-alcoholic beverage, or one full buffet. Children ages 3-9 are limited to the Children's Menu (if one is available) at table-service restaurants.
Applicable taxes are included. Gratuities are not included. Two table-service meals will be redeemed per person dining for Private Dining, Cinderella's Royal Table, Dinner Show or Signature Dining Experience. Two table-service meals will be redeemed per person dining for all Grand Gathering Experiences except for the Good Morning Character Breakfast, which requires only one table-service meal. Pizza delivery requires two table-service meals per serving. Meals are non-transferable between party members and expire at midnight on the day of check out.
