Question for the experts

Do Universal tickets not expire like Disney tickets? For example: I'm looking at buying 2 Universal 2-park unlimited tickets w/Blue Man Group (for the discount) and I already have 1 (free) Universal ticket so I'd only need the Blue Man Group part of one ticket.

So....can I just use the Blue Man Group part and save the rest of the ticket for another time? Do they expire?

In most cases yes, however I'm not sure how they'd handle that situation. My guess is that there's an expiration date after the time of first use in the parks, so that wouldn't include BMG. But I'd call to find out for certain how long you have to use the 2 day pass.

As far as that goes, most Disney tickets don't expire until first use either. I believe you can buy a multi-day pass, and the expiration countdown doesn't begin until you get into the park for the first time.

I got free tickets during Mardi Gras from a radio contest and near the bottom with the legal mumbo jumbo it said "1 day USF/IOA expires 12/31/09" . So they usualy do have an expiration date but I would call and talk to guest services about this.

I'm not sure if Blue Man Group would be considered first use or not. I'm leaning towards not, but I'm not 100% sure. However, I would check with Universal to be certain the tickets do not expire.
