Ticket Question

Hey all,

I've got a quick ticket question for all of you that I'm guessing I know the answer to (Disney is usually pretty good about looking after their best financial interest). Anyway, for our upcoming trip we have 7 day tickets (no park hopper). If we only do six days of parks, can we use the extra day to go to two parks in one day? I'm guessing they don't let you do that, but I figured I check. Thanks.

You have 7 single-park calendar days' admissions. You can't use two calendar days' admissions on the same calendar day.

If you get a Hopper option, each of your admissions is still a calendar day admission, but allows entry to multiple parks.

Don't get me wrong, it's a legitimate question and a person who posts that question has no way of knowing how often others ask, so I'm not intending to poke fun at the OP. But for those who have been here a while, it's amusing to see how often that question comes up.

You can see why the question comes up so often. It's easy to read 7 days as 7 park entrances. Logic says that Disney shouldn't really care when you use them, as long as you pay for each entrance.

But they do care.

A ten-day base ticket has a daily cost of $25.25 to enter one park per day.
A ten-day hopper costs $30.57 per day to enter multiple parks per day.

Not a large profit difference, but every penny counts to Disney.

Ya, I can easily understand the thinking behind the question, hence my statement that it's a legitimate question. Nevertheless, I can't help seeing the humor in how often the question comes up. Of course, there are those individuals on this site that are outright rude to new posters for asking this question, as if they should somehow know that the question comes up so often and that they should, therefore, know the answer without needing to ask.
