Ticket question

I took my parents to the park the other day and they purchased one day tickets, as I myself have an annual pass. Well the person told my parents that after they use their one day ticket, if they keep that ticket and decide to go another day they can add a day on to that ticket and it is a lot cheaper than paying for another day? Or something like that. Is this true? and if so how much would it be for them to go another day?

Within 14 days of first use they can "upgrade". If they want to go again outside the 14-day window, the could add more days and the no-expire option, but it'd still need to be done during the initial 14-day period.

You can judge the savings on the Disney ticketing page. Adding just one more day won't save them much, but the more days you add [up to a total of ten days], the cheaper it gets per day.

If you're going to go for an additional day, be sure to bring your ticket back with you. It may only be a small savings for the second and third day, but the fourth day ends up being only $9!
