Ticket & Park Reservation Question

So we initially purchased an 8 day ticket but now realize our Saturday return flight time will not allow for a park that day. We had already booked a park reservation for that Saturday as well. So I assume I will drop that Saturday park reservation, then drop that extra day off our ticket. Seems simple but my question is, upon changing the ticket from 8 to 7 days, does this foul anything up on all my existing park reservations? Please tell me they don't wipe everything out with your existing park reservations and you start from scratch when revising your ticket purchase.

If you booked a package through Disney and you are just changing from 8 day to 7 day tickets, your reservations will be fine. I just recently downgraded my tickets by one day and had no problems.

We have changed the length of our stay a couple of times and it had no effect on park reservations already made.

Thank you both for your response. Got ticket days changed with no problems to our existing park reservations.
