Interesting. I had group 9 and definitely did not get the notification until 9:23 (after the stoppage).
I did not get there until after 10 and entered without issue.

Thank you for tracking this! I’m assuming they’re closing the ride at 6 pm again? Any idea if there’s any reason for this and is it expected to continue?

No official reason but maintenance and low demand/ridership during the cold weather are the primary reasons.
Believe the early closures continue into early February for now.
