I really love the Raptors but they canceled the orders recently for more. All the money for their orders got diverted to the JSF since its a multi-role fighter and the Raptor is a air-to-air mostly plane which we rarely have any dogfights lately so it kind of makes sense.
I actually read/watched an interesting bit on the transportation of the president. There is two helicopters that look similar so its meant to confuse anyone trying to attack it. Only when the president is on-board does it become Marine 1. If the VP is on I believe it becomes Marine 2(watched this a year or so ago so it might not be exactly right). I would have loved to see those planes over my front yard though, you should feel lucky about that haha. Especially with a Flying Fortress over your front yard.
