hmm

Is that a brake run or a mid point brake section ?

There might be a sensor problem. If two Trains are in the same section on most coasters the ride estops or if the ride doesnt detect a train.

I have seen this multiple times at other parks. On some coasters if the air gates get pushed open by somebody in the station the ride estops also.

So is the train stopped in a brake section or on a regular part of the track?

Well, it may stop the ride, but not necessarily an e-stop (which means the power is cut from the ride). Airgates are tied into the operating computer, so if they are forced open the brakes on the ride course will activate. That does not mean the ride's power has been cut.

On superman at Six Flags great adventure just that happened. I know because I was there and being my normal curious self stayed in the station (ended up helping getting the ride going again) and the coaster didnt even turn on would generate an error. Trains wouldnt move either from the blocks.

Turned out somebody busted the pump for the air gates by pushing on the gates and the whole ride ground to a hault.

I know different coasters work differently though.
