The Ghost Host makes it clear that the ghosts are "playful" and have no intention of harming you... let alone pushing you down stairs...

It will be at the beginning as your Doom Buggy ascends the Staircase. It is not a thrill feature but rather purely an optical effect. But it looks very cool from the photo!
