Never has been...in point of fact, tracking down producers of counterfeit money was the original purpose of the Secret Service. The protection of the President, First Lady, etc. was only added after the assassination of...William McKinley in 1901...I think.

Just your random factoid for the day. Though for a moment I had to wonder...if you see guys in suits at the World talking to their cufflinks, is the only thing that tells you that they're Secret Service rather than undercover Disney security the fact that they're wearing suits? :animwink:

We have it happen at the casinos where I work, but not that often where it actually gets through. The sad fact is that our company has to eat that cost to the bottom line and it is ultimately passed on in cost to the guest which is what Disney has to do. Some people can be so selfish and only think about themselves and not about it hurting everyone in the long run.

WOW...the US Secret Service. Crap....that's scary.
This happened at my local mall too and the person went downstairs and tried to use it at another store. Why do people think they can get away with this stuff? Do they not watch CSI...they're gonna get ya!

The secret service handles all counterfeiting issues.

Secret Service agents wear wireless microphones embedded in their collars, the "talking into cuffs" is a movie thing.
